Fresh Air Bicycles opened in June 1992 inspired by innovations in bicycle suspension, especially the designs by San Francisco's J.P. Morgen. Over the years, the shop has adapted and has morphed into a service-oriented repair shop more focused on bicycles as utilitarian vehicles rather than machines to be worshiped. While we regularly service high-end bikes, our proudest accomplishments are turning throw-away bikes into reliable commuter bikes.
